PURCHASE AGREEMENT
Watt Wrangler Purchase Agreement
Agreement between Buyer and Watt Wrangler
Thank you for your interest in Watt Wrangler boards (“Boards”) a low voltage electrical component by the makers of Watt Wrangler (“Watt Wrangler”). The Boards are sold to you conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein (the “Agreement”). Your purchase constitutes your agreement to all such terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not purchase a Board. Please read this agreement carefully.
Purpose of the Boards
Watt Wrangler Boards are a core component in a system designed to actuate electrical equipment. The Boards are able to actuate 12 VDC relay coils. These relays then can control virtually any type of electrical device. The Boards are NOT life safety devices and shall not be installed to operate critical, urgent, or necessary equipment.
Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for powering and installing the Board and for the design and installation of the system of relays and related equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, enclosures, conduit, wiring, over current protection, and compliance with code. Powering the Board includes, but is not limited to, choosing, supplying, wiring, and soldering a 12 volt direct current power supply to the Board. You are also solely responsible for the choices made in deciding what equipment to operate.
Installation Requirements
Installation of the Board, it’s power supply, and the system of relays shall be performed by qualified installers only. Relays and their associated wiring that operate house voltages shall be installed by qualified, licensed electricians. The Board, it’s power supply, and the relay control wiring shall be installed by qualified technicians able to solder, who understand direct current electronics, and understand the functioning of the Board. The Board and all other components shall be installed in a safe manner such as in standard electrical enclosures. Before energizing, the power supply wiring shall be checked for proper polarity, and the relay control wiring checked for shorts.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Watt Wrangler, its officers, directors, employees, agents and third parties, for any losses, costs, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) relating to or arising out of your installation or use of or inability to use the the Board, your violation of any terms of this Agreement or your violation of any rights of a third party, or your violation of any applicable laws, rules or regulations. Watt Wrangler reserves the right, at its own cost, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will fully cooperate with Watt Wrangler in asserting any available defenses.
